For those new players interested in signing up our Spring season, we will be holding one more LAST CALL tryout in March! Tryouts are open to all players that do not currently play or PFHC. Please see information below:
u19 + u16 Tryout: Monday March 3, 2025 / 7:00 - 8:15pm
u14, u12, u10 Tryout: Tuesday March 4, 2025 / 5:00 - 6:15pm
^If weather is an issue, back up date would be Wednesday March 5, 2025 / 5:00 - 6:15pm
Location for all tryouts will be Bedford Field @ Princeton University
Cost for the tryout will be $50
Please refer to the new USA Field Hockey age classifications below for your age group for the 2024 – 2025 Season.
U10: Players born after July 31, 2014
U12: Players born after July 31, 2012
U14: Players born after July 31, 2010
U16: Players born after July 31, 2008
U19: Players born after July 31, 2006

REGISTRATION FOR CURRENT AND NEW MEMBERS:
How do we select and assess players?
All players interested in joining the club are allowed to register and join. We typically have 2-3 teams per age group based and assign players based on skill level. We utilize the first 2 weeks of winter to assign players for winter indoor teams, and we use the first 3 weeks of spring training to assign players to their respective spring teams.
Registration will open mid August for the the Spring program. All returning and new players are welcome to sign up. There will be an early registration window from August 10th - October 1st during which the registration will be discounted by $75 (does not apply to U10 and U12 age groups). The regular registration period will remain open from October 1st - March 18th or until the program fills up. Each year, every age group is at capacity, so please register for your spot early.
